How much cervical money has really won in Tracker Season 2, broken down

With Colter Shaw accumulating the awards Tracker Season 2, it is easy to think that it earns a lot of money by doing what it does. However, it is worth breaking the exact amount he has done this season and how much he could have kept. Colter generally makes a point of principle to perceive the costs offered to it Tracker. Although he is compassionate and really cares about the people he helps, it is always business and his means of subsistence, so it is his head that negotiates, not his heart.
As we have seen, some of the richest customers that Colter undertakes are ready to pay a little, with Colter by sometimes doing more in a case than many of us in a year – or almost. In a particularly memorable episode involving a missing racing horse Tracker Season 1, Colter had to divide a reward of $ 250,000 with Billie Matalon, but the FBI froze the assets of their customer, so the awards did nothing. The range of costs that Colter is paid varies wildly depending on which pays the reward. While some Tracker Season 2 The episodes let him rinse with money, others barely see him breaking or even losing money.
Colter won at least $ 330,187 in Tracker Season 2
He did more, but some cases were unknown
Most episodes of Tracker Including a scene in which Velma or the customer clearly indicates that the payment offered in advance. Of the 20 episodes this season, the exact amount of reward has been described 14 times. In three episodes this season, Colter made a favor to a friend and there was therefore no cost: in Tracker Season 2, episode 9, he finished the Gina stake case for Camille; In episode 17, he served Randy by finding the best friend of his ex-girlfriend; And in the final, his research brought him back to Echo Ridge to make a favor to an old friend of the family.
There have been costs that have never been explicitly stated in three other episodes: episode 15 saw it be paid by the local police service, in episode 16, it was ostensibly paid by another friend (although it could have been a favor), and in episode 19, it was paid an amount unknown by Leo Sharf. Finally, fees of $ 50,000 were offered in episode 3, which was divided with Billie. At 50/50, it works at $ 25,000.

In total, Colter won $ 330,187 in total this season. However, we can assume that there were other cases throughout the year and faster that occurred out of screen, so the real quantity he made in a year is probably much higher. We must also consider that, while Colter accumulates tons of kilometers on his truck, which means a lot of money for the main part and vehicles, and even if he often dines, he lives in his air flow, so he has no rent and he travels very light. As such, apart from food and gas, Colter’s personal expenses are reasonably weak. This does not yet mean that he is swimming in cash, however.
Colter gave part of his reward money in season 2 of the Tracker
Two instances encouraged Colter to return the money
This season has been a few times that he has not kept the costs offered to him. In episode 7, the “best friend of the man”, he gently agreed to take the case of finding the disappeared dog of a boy for $ 187. When the little boy offers him his piggy bank at the end of the episode, Colter tells him to use it instead to buy something nice for his mom. Instead, they would consider Colter to find his dog “A favor with friends. “”

Season 2 of the Tracker proves that Justin Hartley’s CBS show must make 1 big change for season 3
CBS has already renewed Tracker for a third season, and after season 2, the only major change that the show must make for the future is obvious.
There is another example later in the season, in episode 14, “Nightingale”, where Colter donates the costs of $ 10,000 offered to it. In this episode, a priest who had tried to hide his sister and a boy with a dangerous killer ended up giving his life to protect them. Instead of taking the money that the boy’s father offers him, he tells him to give him to the church of the priest killed. While Colter is held on business, this season has shown that there are times when Colter will make personal allowances.
Colter also shares his tracker income with his team – and probably the IRS
A company is a company, after all
Of course, Colter does not keep all this money of reward for itself; It does not pocket $ 300 + large. He has a team to divide it between, and this season it was Velma, Bobby, and, in the second half of the season, the Cousin of Bobby, Randy. While Reenie often helps Colter to go out, she has her own work as a great power lawyer, and it seems that everything she does to Colter is Professional bonus. We do not know exactly how the split of the team breaks down, although we can assume that Colter obtains a larger cup because it is the one that does the most work and the only one on the field.
It is also not known if Colter teammates have other sources of income. Velma, at the very least, also seems to work for reenie Tracker Season 2 and business was booming. Earlier in the season, an episode showed Velma and Reenie to extend the office, indicating that business is good. The new customer of Reenie, Leo Sharf, is also loaded and seems to pay fairly well Reenie. Meanwhile, Bobby and Randy seem to have a lot of time in their hands and probably use their technological skills elsewhere as freelancers. Given the inconsistent nature of Colter’s work, it is unlikely that the three can only count on him for income.

Finally, there is the American government to consider – namely IRS. It has never been explicitly stated, but the operation of Colter is probably implemented as a legitimate company and that will not change Tracker Season 3. To keep everything on editing, they should be incorporated as a small business like an LLC. If this is the case, then they pay taxes on at least some of their income, depending on their payment in cash. Considering everything, when it seems that Colter is raating in money TrackR, paying the team and the taxes means that it is enough to be comfortable, but it will certainly never become rich as a reward.
