Greenwich Entertainment has unveiled an official trailer for a film entitled ShoshanaA thriller taking place in Tel Aviv, Israel in the 1930s. This first was presented at first at the Toronto Film Festival in 2023 a few years ago, but remained in the release limbo since the current events in Palestine and Israel – especially because it is literally this conflict. And maybe they don’t know what the public will do. In this thriller on board of your seat inspired by real events, a British police officer and a Jewish woman fall in love in the middle of such Aviv political disorders of the 1930s. With British control over precarious Palestine and inevitable conflict, everyone is forced to choose one side. From the famous British filmmaker Michael Winterbottom. The description indicates: “Thanks to their relationship, the film explores the way extremism and violence push people, forcing people to choose one side or the other.” With Irina Starshenbaum,, Harry Melling,, Douglas BoothAnd Gal Mizrav. Inspired by real events, Shoshana is a political thriller which takes place in the 1930s in Tel Aviv, a brand new European Jewish city being built on the banks of the Mediterranean. Thomas Wilkin (Douglas Booth) is in love with the city and Shoshana Borochov (Irina Starshenbaum), a Russian Jewish woman living in the city. Thanks to their relationship, the film explores the way extremism and violence repels people, forcing people to choose one side or the other … Wilkin works with Geoffrey Morton (Harry Melling) in the anti-terrorist squad of the British Palestine police force, to continue the charismatic poet and underground leader Avraham Stern (Aury Alby). Stern thinks that Israel can only be built by violence. Its two main targets are Wilkin & Morton. Shoshana, like such Aviv, is modern, progressive and feminist. She hates the policy of Stern and her disciples. As the violence built, everyone is forced to choose the team on which they are fighting …

This was first presented at the Toronto Film Festival in 2023 a few years ago, and he also played at London & Thessaloniki film festivals. Greenwich Ert will make his debut on Winterbottom Shoshana Film in some American theaters starting July 25, 2025.
