New trailer for ‘St. Elmo’s Fire ‘4K Reissue for its 40th birthday

“Everything I remember … are seven of us always together.” Sony Pictures revealed a brand new trailer to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the classic film in the 80s Fire of St. ElmoA story on life and love and friendship disputed by Joel Schumacher. It is a big favorite among the Gen Xers, an important film for the time – released for the first time in June 1985. The Brat pack was back. Celebrate the 40th anniversary of Fire of St. Elmonewly restored in 4K and return to certain theaters from October 17 This fall. A group of friends, just out of the university, has trouble with adulthood. Seven friends – Alec, Billy, Jules, Kevin, Kirby, Leslie, Wendy – are trying to sail in life and their friendships after obtaining the Diploma of Georgetown University of Washington DC while often being in their ol ‘diving known as St. Elmo’s Bar. With ROB LOWE,, Andrew McCarthy,, Half moore,, Judd Nelson,, Ally Sheedy,, Emilio estevez,, Winingham pond,, Andie MacDowell. Critics do not seem to love this film much. A review indicates that the film recalls “that the 80s were, much worse than any of us, we will not remember today, and by helping these monsters to withdraw their careers, we will pay our sins for the decades to come”. Ouch! They are not so bad. Anyone else appreciate this film?

The young, the hottest players of the day are featured in this film on seven friends, recent graduates of the university, looking for a place in “The Real World”, while they are faced with career and commitment issues. Leslie and Alex (Ally Sheedy & Judd Nelson) try to save a romance in ruins. Wendy (Mare Winingham), a shy virgin, hides a love for Billy (Rob Lowe), a reluctant father in search of objectives. Kevin (Andrew McCarthy) is a cynical writer who deserves love until he realizes that he is in love with the daughter of his best friend. Kirbo (Emilio Estevez), a law student, obsessively continues an older woman. The beautiful and neurotic jules (half moore) paints a poignant image of life in the fast way. In the context of St. Elmo, their local meeting place, they save, betray each other and love each other as only the closest friends can. Fire of St. Elmo is produced by the filmmaker Joel Schumacherhis sixth feature film at the time after having done DC cabin (1983) and before doing Lost boys (1987). The scenario is by Joel Schumacher and Carl Kurlander. It opened for the first time in theaters End of June 1985 During the summer – win a solid $ 37 million at the box office during its race. Sony will reissue the Schumacher Fire of St. Elmo 4K film in some American theaters starting October 17, 2025 This fall. Big fans of this one?
