“25 years later – the injury is still alive.” Mubi has revealed a brand new reissue of the 25th anniversary for the classic independent classic Amore dogsMexican director’s first feature film Alejandro G.. This first was presented at first at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival in the sidebar of the directors’ fortnight, launching the career of Iñárritu who would continue to win Oscars and make a handful of all-time films. An amateur dog fighter, a mannequin, and worn assassin, all fighting separately to find love, find their life transformed by a devastating car wreck in Mexico. The stars of the film Emilio Echevarría,, Gael García Bernal,, Goya Toledo,, Álvaro Guerrero,, Vanessa Bauche,, Jorge Salinas,, Adriana Barraza,, Humberto Busto. The official title of the film is a play on words in Spanish; The word “Perros”, which literally means “dogs”, can also be used to designate misery, so that it means roughly “bad loves” with canine connotations. The film was released under its Spanish title in the English -speaking world, although it has sometimes been translated by Love is a female dog in marketing. The soundtrack includes songs from Latin American rock groups, notably Café Tacuba, Control Machete and Illya Kuryaki and The Valderramas. This new 4K version was restored from the original 35 mm camera, which was scanned in 4K 16 -bit resolution. The Color & Final ranking was supervised and approved by the director Alejandro G. Iñárritu, as well as the director of photography Rodrigo Pieto. See it below.

Meet Alejandro G. Iñárritu to celebrate the birthday of his first film. Amore dogs is produced by an acclaimed Mexican filmmaker Alejandro G. (Aka Alejandro González Iñárritu), his very first feature film at the time before doing 21 grams (2003). The scenario is written by Guillermo Arriaga Jordán. Also produced by Iñárritu. This initially was presented at first at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival, and also played in Nyff that year, then did not open its doors March 2001.
