New Jurassic World Sequel Continues 32-Year-Old Franchise Tradition

Warning: This article includes MAJOR SPOILERS for Jurassic World: Chaos Theory season 4!

those of Netflix Jurassic World: Chaos Theory concludes the final season by continuing a beloved 32-year-old tradition within the franchise. After five seasons of Camp Cretaceous and four seasons of Chaos theorythe story of the Nublar Six has come to an end. It’s bittersweet to say goodbye to them, considering how fantastic the animated shows are.

From start to finish, Jurassic World: Chaos Theory shows respect towards Jurassic Park movies. Even when they made fun of Domination of the Jurassic world‘s most controversial story was like a sibling teasing a family member – done with affectionate banter rather than malice.

The love for the greater franchise is best demonstrated by the return of Dr. Henry Wu, the appearance of the three T. rexes, and the continuation of a crucial tradition.

Jurassic World: Chaos Theory Series Finale Features John Williams’ ‘Journey To The Island’

One of the most epic moments of the end of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory season 4 is where Big Eatie, Little Eatie and Rexy fight the atrociraptors to protect the Nublar Six. During this scene, the series finally uses John Williams’ iconic score from the original film.

The motif of “Journey to the Island” is integrated with the rest of the soundtrack, bringing a wave of nostalgia and excitement. I already enjoyed the dinosaur fight scene, but the familiar motif completely immersed me. Plus, Rexy was the OG Jurassic Park Tyrannosaurus, his fight alongside the other two rexes was therefore the perfect time to continue the tradition of using Williams’ music.

John Williams’ music is an integral part of the Jurassic Park franchise

John Williams is one of the most accomplished composers of all time, having written music for many classic films. Although he only composed for Jurassic Park And The lost worldher music is one of the most instantly recognizable elements of the franchise, alongside Rexy.

Each Jurassic Park The film incorporated John Williams’ themes to maintain continuity and pay homage to the incredible composer. Jurassic World Revival even used a large symphony orchestra (via BNC) for the score by composer Alexandre Desplat because that’s what John Williams did, and it’s now part of Jurassic ParkIt’s DNA.

Future Jurassic World projects must continue the tradition of John Williams

At the time of writing this article, there is no Jurassic Park films or shows officially in the works. Jurassic World: Chaos Theory season 5 is not happening. The rebirth of the Jurassic worldThe director considered the film a one-off, although it was initially announced as a trilogy, and Jonathan Bailey is taking a break from acting. The only new thing is the game Jurassic Park: Survival.

However, it is unlikely that Jurassic Park the franchise is done for good. The world will always be fascinated by the wonder and horror of dinosaurs. Plus, it’s fun to watch them take out humans one by one. If and when another Jurassic world project arises, the creative team cannot deviate from the tradition of using the incredible Jurassic Park score.
