Netflix to publish the sings version of “Kpop Demon Hunters”

A version sings of “Kpop Demon Hunters” officially arrives in Netflix on Monday, August 25.

The release of the “Kpop Demon Hunters Sing-Along” on the streamer follows the event “Kpop Demon Hunters in Sing-Along”, a limited theatrical screening event in 2180 theaters in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom / Ireland and Australia / New Zealand with more than 1,300 projections across the United States and Canada. During the event in New York, the members of the distribution Rei Ami and Kevin Woo appeared and led a song to “How It’s Done”, the film of the film.

The animated film brought in $ 18-20 million during the weekend from 22 to 24 August.

With “How It’s Done”, Woo also sang “Soda Pop” from the successful film. The other events that took place in the weekend of fans included a sunrise lighting ceremony at the Empire State Building with stars Arden Cho, May Hong and friend.

The film follows the adventures of the K -Pop Huntr / X group who use their hidden talents as a demon hunters “to protect their fans against the supernatural danger always present. Together, they have to face their greatest threat – an irresistible disguised rival group”, according to the line line of the show.

Chris Appehans, the film co-scriptwriter, told the New York Post at the Saturday ceremony: “Animation is a really collaborative medium, and it is their voice, literally, their voices, who gave life to Rumi and Mira and Zoey and put these songs above the graphics.”

“I am so grateful to the fans and for these wonderful and talented women who have made this film such a key connection and joy in recent months,” he added. “I think it’s really great to have a symbol like the Empire State Building reads Golden, just to bring everyone together in the city and have a moment with the music that connects us all, because it does. And really, really happy and proud that films somehow play on most of that. ”

The film was compared to Disney “Frozen” in terms of unexpected success. He was the first original Netflix film to exceed his previous vision peak during his sixth week and appeared in the top 10 of all countries. Since its beginnings on June 20, “Kpop Demon Hunters” has passed between the first two places on the list of the most watched films in Netflix, taking second place at “The Old Guard 2”, “Happy Gilmore 2” and, more recently, “My Oxford Year”.

“Kpop Demon Hunters Sing-Along” falls on Netflix Midnight PT on August 25.
