Shohei Ohtani, Mike Trout takes place for the revenge match of their classic World Baseball 2023 duel

Anaheim, California – One of the highest moments in baseball during the last half -receiver will be continued on Wednesday evening. The original spectacle could be a little difficult to overcome.
The issues could be a little different because Shohei Ohtani faces his former team as a launcher for the first time, taking up a memorable match against the former teammate Mike Trout when the Los Angeles Dodgers of Ohtani confront the angels.
“I remember catching me to look at Shohei and Trout, as I cannot believe that I am witness to this confrontation,” said Nolan Arenado on Tuesday, recalling the duel two years ago.
“I mean, if you talk about a global scale for baseball, it was as big as possible, this moment,” said Dodgers manager Dave Roberts.
The emblematic image of the World Baseball Classic 2023 final was Ohtani bringing Little League’s game to the largest international baseball scene, with a sweaty of sweat and a stain on his pants while he entered to close a 3-2 ball game. Ohtani has walked rather than jogging the enclosure of Lauandepot park enclosure, responsible for recording the last three withdrawals of the mound for Samurai Japan against a collection of the largest baseball talents in the United States.
For years, Ohtani and Trout had shared a diamond. They had been Angels teammates during some of their individual MVP seasons, a future couple in the fame of fame whose lack of success of the regular season has made the world’s classic their biggest scene. Finally, the two stars would compete in front of the head, fighting with a complete count that would finally decide the tournament. A teammate represented the final boss.
Ohtani won the battle of six strokes, releasing a sweeper who removed the Trout bat for a withdrawal to top the title. Ohtani threw his glove as the trout looked.
“This is only a moment of history which, in this situation, could never happen again,” said Mookie Betts, whose bat was preceding the trout and who now calls Ohtani a teammate with the Dodgers.
“It was like a film script meeting that you have Shohei Ohtani, Team Japan, against Mike Trout, Team USA,” said Dino Ebel, third base of Team USA that evening. “To have this kind of match and this kind of atmosphere is something that I will never forget.”
Ohtani’s bidirectional exploits had made the logistics of the feat difficult. He sat in the enclosure of the surveys at home at the top of the seventh round before jogging to take his blow in the lower half. After reaching a simple inner field against David Bednar of the United States, Ohtani returned to the enclosure of the lifts to start throwing again. Japan’s pitch options have shown an Ohtani finish, especially after Kyle Schwarber took Yu Darvish at the bottom of the eighth to reduce Japan’s advance to a round.
Adrenaline may have justified Ohtani’s speed when he entered the ninth. He touched 101 mph with his quick ball but emitted a walk at the head of Jeff McNeil, putting the link on the base with Betts with marble. The 2018 Al MVP cut the second throw he saw Ohtani for a double game.
Betts was always stew while the story should take place, ohtani facing trout with two withdrawals at the end of ninth.
“I watched it, but I was upset that I had founded double game,” said Betts this week.
Arenado’s place was two, so he stood on the edge of the canoe while waiting to see if his teammates could keep the Channel alive.
“I had the best seat of the house, I receive chills to think about it,” said Arenado.
Ohtani’s plan of attack on trout was simple, but direct: sweeteners, and don’t be afraid to challenge him with the quick ball. He missed low with a sweeper on the first land before blowing a quick trout of 100 mph in front of the count. Two rapid three-digit balls brought the count to 2-2 before Ohtani muscular to finish it. He pulled ground at 102 MPH which brought the count.
Ohtani returned to his best land. The trout swung through the sweeper.
“This last land on which he struck it was probably the wisest field I have ever seen,” said Arenado.
Finally, we will be able to see part 2. Ohtani, which has since signed a record contract with the Dodgers, won a world series and returned to pitching after a second major elbow operation, will launch on Wednesday at Angel Stadium for the first time as a visitor. (Tuesday, Trout refused to comment on his memories of the At-Bat this week through a spokesperson for Angels. The Dodgers did not make Ohtani available to the media after being confirmed that he was going to appear against the angels.)
Trout will occupy the old place of Ohtani in the programming as a designated striker.
Having them both on the ground at the same time will undoubtedly move the senses again.
“It was epic,” said Roberts about 2023. “I was stuck. So I hope Shohei gets the best of him again tomorrow, but Mike is not going to go back.”
