Las Vegas – Asa Newell scored 18 points to conduct Atlanta Hawks at a 98-80 victory against the Phoenix Suns in the NBA 2K26 Summer League on Sunday at the Pavilion.

Newell did most of his work in the second half, because he had only three points in 11 minutes of action after two quarters, when he finished the evening with a shooting of 7 for 9, including 4 for 5 of Deep, to go with a summit of 11 rebounds.

The Hawks had control at the start of the match, leading 30-17 after a quarter.
