Like more details emerging on HBOs LanternsIt is more and more like the television series will be more a program centered on John Stewart, despite the fact that Kyle Chandler should appear under the name of Hal Jordan.
Addressing Entertainment Weekly, Nathan Fillion, who has an appearance of stage flight as Guy Gardner Supermandiscussed his appearance on the show, revealing that he has only scenes with John Stewart by Aaron Pierre, not Hal.

During this promotional video, Gunn described the series as,, “This is the story of some green lanterns John Stewart and Hal Jordan. We have a few other lanterns roughly in there, but it is really a terrestrial television program which is almost like a real detective with a few green lanterns which are space cops which kept the land of the constituency, they discover a terrifying mystery which links to our greatest history of the DCU.“”
Filming on Lanterns would have wrapped this month. We have not seen the usual publications of social media wrapped in the distribution or the team, it is therefore probably sure that the show is still filming or at least, the Wrap feast has not yet taken place.
Lanterns Stars Kyle Chandler in the role of Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre in the role of John Stewart. Fans will also see Nathan Fillion resume his role of abrasive Guy Gardner, connecting Lanterns at its appearance in the next Superman movie.
Lanterns is co-written by Chris Mundy (who also serves as a showrunner), Damon Lindelof and Tom King. James Hawes directs the first two episodes. The shooting of the series started in February 2025 in Los Angeles.
With a first planned on HBO at the beginning of 2026 (and streaming on max), the 8 episode Lanterns is about to lay fundamental elements of the global story of the DCU.
