Namibia senior women’s cricket team to tour Assam in January 2026 | Cricket News

The Namibia senior women’s cricket team will play a four-match white-ball friendly series against Assam, starting January 8.The series is part of a reciprocal international engagement between the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) and Cricket Namibia.During the tour, the visiting team will face Assam senior women’s team in the series comprising two One-Days and as many T20s, ACA Secretary Sanatan Das said on Friday.“This international series marks an important milestone for Assam cricket, strengthening sporting relations between India and Namibia while providing an excellent platform for players from both teams to showcase their skills, competitiveness and true spirit of the game,” Das added.The Namibian team is expected to arrive in Assam on January 6.The two one-day matches and the first T20 will be played at the Mangaldai Stadium, while the final T20 will be held at the ACA Cricket Academy ground in Fulung, North Guwahati.The Assam senior men’s team had toured Namibia last year.
