NABA Finals win the winners of match 4 and losers: Caruso’s full game; Mathurin costly minute
Oklahoma City Thunder can also make feedback.
After erased a seven-point lead to start the fourth quarter, the Thunder equalized the NBA final with a victory of 111-104 on Friday June 13, in match 4.
Goalkeeper Thunder Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the most useful player in the NBA, did not record a single pass, but he dropped 35 points, including 15 of the last 16 points of the match. Jalen Williams added 27 and Chet Holmgren posted 14 points and 15 rebounds.
Stronger Pascal Siakam led the Pacers with 20 points, although he did not score in the fourth quarter and only took one stroke in the period.
Here are the winners and losers of match 4 of the 2025 NBA final between the Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder:
Winners
The MVP presents itself in the clutch
Shai Gilgeous -Alexander scored 15 points in the fourth quarter – all in the final 4:38. The Thunder unlocked a way for Gilgeous-Alexander to start, targeting Aaron Nesmith on the Pick-And-Rolls, losing Andrew Nembhard of him.
Gilgeous -Alexander arrived at the eight -time line in the fourth, and he did not play precipitation – he found his spots and executed. Tonight, if the Thunder wins the final, could be a heritage establishment performance for the 26 -year -old.
“It is unreal,” said Thunder’s coach Mark Daigneault.
Alex Caruso
He is known for his defense, but goalkeeper Thunder Alex Caruso broke out for 20 points on a hyper-efficiency night of 7 out of 9 (77.8%). When Gilgeous-Aalexander had trouble finding buckets, Caruso raised Oklahoma City, cutting the basket, working on the basic line for an easy look and ending with floats and euros in euros.
However, as always, Caruso was also a threat to the other end, ending with a top of five interceptions.
“I want to win,” said Caruso. “I don’t care if it is a pickup in September before the training camp. I don’t care if it’s match 45, 50, before the stars break. If it’s the final and you are down 2-1, I want to win. This is what I am focusing on.”
Obi Toppin provides a spark on the bench
The Pacers seem to get a huge boost of at least one bench player for each match. Friday evening, it was Obi Toppin, who was the only stimulator to get better than 50% of the soil. He scored 17 out of 12 on the field and also picked up seven rebounds.
Jalen Williams remains aggressive, stacks big games
In the last two games, Jalen Wiliams at 53 points and 13 rebounds. All-star for the first time 23 years old, Williams flourished in a stable and reliable star. And, when Gilgeous-Alexander was struggling early to start, Williams was hot, marking 16 points in the first half.
Williams was aggressive throughout, marked by his 11 attempts at free throws, which he converted.
Losers
The team known for their returns cannot finish
They became known for frenzied and improbable feedback, but Friday evening, it was the Pacers who could not finish. Holding a seven-point lead entering the fourth quarter, the Pacers left the Thunder to finish the match on a 12-1 race. They have missed all their last seven firing attempts and their last five. They were upgraded to the fourth quarter by 14, a margin of 31-17. Indiana did not make a single 3 point pointer during the period.
Pascal Siakam led the pacers with 20 points and was hot early. Indiana has moved away from him and he only took one quarter at the fourth quarter.
Coach Rick Carlisle said that the “stagnant” offense. He was not wrong. The ball stopped moving as much, because the Pacers recorded a single assist in the fourth, after having released 20 in the first three quarters.
“I have to do a much better job to keep the pace in the match,” said Pacers Tyrese Haliburton’s leader.
The last minute of Benédict Mathurin
It was not the reason why Indiana lost the match, but Mathurin’s last minute on the ground was brutal. Aspiled with 44 seconds to play after Nesmith defeated, Mathurin missed three free throws – after converting 88.9% previously in the playoffs – but also committed two faults outside the game before the ball is even inbendré, offering launches and free possession of Oklahoma.
Pacers cannot clean the glass
Part of the reason why the pacers collapsed in the final frame was because it allowed Oklahoma City to surpass them on the boards. Overall, Indiana has lost the battle of rebound by a significant margin, 43-33. But the fourth quarter was particularly debilitating.
The Pacers were exceeded 12-4 during the period and 4-1 on offensive glass. This prevented the Indiana from Sprinter in transition and led to the stagnation of the half zone.
