Michael Hawkins Jr. launched for 162 yards and three affected and ran for a fourth score while Oklahoma n ° 5 beat Kent State 44-0 on Saturday in Norman, Okla.
The Sooners surpassed the Golden Flashs 355-135, holding Kent at 17 yards on the ground.
Hawkins made his first start to the season after the candidate of the Heisman trophy, John Mateer, broke a bone in his launch hand at the start of the September 20 victory on Auburn. Mateer finished this match, but he underwent surgery a few days after the victory.

Jaydan Hardy intercepted Kargman later in the quarter.
Kent State (1-4) has lost four consecutive games and has not beat an FBS opponent since 2022.
Oklahoma recorded five bags and 13 plated for loss.
The first year Torty Blaylock ran 78 yards in 15 races to lead the Sooners.
