Uh oh!
Each season has been built on these twists and turns to create opportunities for the development of the character and many chances for the spectator to be caught. Season 2 had one of the best twists and turns, when Will’s longtime friend (and sometimes his girlfriend), Angie Polaski (Erika Christensen), finds itself to continue a serial killer in freedom. The murderer turns out to be other than the young friend of Angie, Crystal (Elizabeth oaks chapel). A young girl being a serial killer is sufficiently shocking. But then, while Angie continues after Crystal, Crystal ends up slipping. She strikes her head against another rock and dies instantly. These twists are all built, leading to an incredibly powerful (and satisfactory) season. As impressive as the end of season 2 is, the last episode of the show in season 3 could even make these twists and turns.
The first large twist revolves around “Will Trent’s Angie
Angie had a very tough test this season. Due to her connection with Crystal (which is a kind of long history), she took leave with the police. In the middle of the season, she was finally restored and went out with a pretty doctor named Seth McDale (Scott Foley). But then Angie is launched another curve. His mother died in episode 15, and because of the extremely toxic relationship they shared, Angie ends up falling back into his dependence. She is beaten after intervening drunk in a bar fight, and while she is in the hospital, Seth tells her that she is really pregnant! This torsion is a development of the wild intrigue for the character of Angie, And the one that no one has seen coming (including Angie herself).
There are so many places where the show can take this scenario. First, Angie did not even decided if she was going to continue the pregnancy at the moment. Seth has already confirmed that he would support her, no matter what she chooses, but because of the past trauma of Angie and her extremely complicated relationship with her mother, becoming a parent is not something that she is sure that she can manage. If Angie keeps the baby, how will she tell Will? He has always imagined having a future (and a family) with Angie, so his reaction is necessarily complex. Can he really be a friend of support for Angie?
The final of the season (which is broadcast on May 13) also set up a dangerous disaster in the hospital where Seth works. Is it possible that the baby dad of Angie does not even survive the season? Then Angie would have an even more serious decision to make; Could she raise a child without the father being present? Angie has such a fractured relationship with her sobriety and having a healthy emotional state in general, And this pregnancy could present him even more challenges.
“ Will Trent ” reveals who is Will’s father in his last episode
Before viewers can even catch their breath on Angie’s pregnancy, another wild touch occurs. Will works with Faith Mitchell (Iantha Richardson) on a case where they are presented at a grumpy local sheriff named Caleb Broussard (Yul vazquez). Will and Sheriff are automatically disagreed with each other. They are both injured on the scene, but when Bloodwork returns from the event, He revealed that Caleb is actually Will’s biological father! Will grew up with a host family without knowing his biological parents at all. He has learned a little about his mother in the past two seasons, but it was the first he has heard of his father’s identity.
Will and Caleb have brief interactions after learning the news, but there is so much to explore between them in the future. Will the closed decide to form a closer link with her father, or will he decide that he is too painful to connect more with Caleb? Will must decompose some of his walls so that he can know his father, but perhaps his traumatic past will prevent him from doing so. Not only does this twist provide the spectator with additional history on Will’s life, But that also sets up a convincing scenario for season 4.
By offering a twist at the start of the episode, the show makes it imperative to spend the whole hour (no end of the end of the episode required), but By storing the episode with several twists and turns, public members are on the verge of their seats while waiting for the season final. Will Trent has always been able to insert fascinating twists and turns, but the premium of surprises of this illustrious episode why the series is currently the best network program to shock its audience. The show has already been renewed for a season 4 (which will be presented in the first in the fall), so we do not know where history will evolve from here. One thing we know is that it will continue to be a crazy race in the future.
