Crystal Palace now targets a “clinical” premier league attacker replacing Ebelechi Eze, in the middle of the continuous interest of Tottenham.
Eze tells Palace to let him join Tottenham
David Ornstein of Athletic revealed that Eze informed Palace of his desire to join Tottenham Hotspur this summer, the move that should have passed, despite the start of 27 years against Chelsea this weekend.
Consequently, the Eagles will now be responsible for replacing the international in England, and Ornstein names Bilal El Khanouss from Leicester City and Christos Tzolis of Club Brugge as two potential options.
However, an agreement for El Khannouss could be difficult to orchestrate, because the release clause of Morocco has now expired, and Leicester will be difficult negotiators, while journalist Sacha Tavolieri has revealed that Brugge is extremely reluctant to sell tzolis.
As such, Crystal Palace can be forced to switch to alternative targets, and they now envisage Hwang Hee-Chan of Wolverhampton Wanderers in direct replacement of Eze, with Tottenham recently subjected an offer for English.
It is according to Lianos on X, which also declares that the Eagles assess the possibility of advancing the wolves on a loan agreement.
The interest in Tzolis and El Khannouss remains, but Brugge plays Hardball on the first, having already rejected an offer of 26 million pounds sterling.

The 2024-25 campaign was not the best in the South Korean by any section, by reprimanding only two goals in the Premier League, however, the attacker previously proven as a reliable scorer in the elite.
More specifically, the 29-year-old concluded with 12 impressive goals and three assists for the old gold in the 2023-24 campaign, a period during which he was greeted as “clinic” by journalist Alex Richards.
As such, if the Wolves Ace, which is known to pocket £ 70,000 per week, could return to these levels, it could be a solid signature for Palace, although there is doubts about whether the South Korea international should be brought to direct replacement of Eze.
Hwang most often presented as a center-forward throughout his career to date, and Palace must bring a player specializing in the attack on the midfield, therefore El Khannouss, who has two assists in two championship games this season, should be their higher goal.
