Thunderstorms and rain are expected to continue on Tuesday afternoon and could stay on Wednesday.

Some storms could be on the strong side, especially if we start to see some storms colliding with each other. This could cause minor street floods if storms slow down.

The first real break in the wet time model is planned for the start of next week. Temperatures are likely to stay in the 90s, so it’s not only wet – it’s sticky there

Post Tropical Chantel will continue to show sudden floods for games of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Chantel brings heavy rain and current risks for Carolines and Virginia.

Remember that the Atlantic Hurricane season lasts until November. Here in SE Texas, we see the top of the tropical season in September, but we can see a storm at any time in the fall. Last year, Hurricane Beryl hit Earth early in the morning on July 8.
