The Department of Homeland Security reports that more than two million people who were residing illegally in the United States have, in one way or another, been repatriated to their home countries. This report comes as the Trump administration continues to face efforts from the left and activist judges to block them from enforcing immigration laws, but the process continues.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) today announced record statistics with more than 527,000 illegal aliens deported under the leadership of President Donald Trump and Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem.
“The Trump administration is on track to break historic records and deport nearly 600,000 illegal aliens by the end of President Donald Trump’s first year since returning to office. MMore than 2 million illegal aliens have left the United States including 1.6 million who voluntarily self-deported and more than 527,000 expulsions,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “This is just the beginning. President Trump and Secretary Noem have revived an agency that has been paralyzed and prevented from doing its job for the past four years. Facing a historic number of injunctions from activist judges and threats against law enforcement, DHS, ICE and CBP not only closed the border, but made historic progress to fulfill President Trump’s promise to arrest and deport illegal aliens who invaded our country. Illegal foreigners are hearing our message: leave now or face the consequences: migrants are now turning back before they even reach our borders. Migration through Darien Gap in Panama is down 99.99%.
The 1.6 million people who returned home voluntarily would have done so in part thanks to a federal program to pay for their costs:
Illegal aliens can take control of their departure using the CBP Home app. The United States is now offering illegal aliens $1,000 and a free flight to self-deport. We encourage anyone here illegally to take advantage of this offer and reserve the chance to return to the United States the correct and legal way to live the American dream. Otherwise, you will be arrested and deported without the possibility of returning.
While some may object to the idea of paying these people to leave when they should never have been here, there is some logic to this program. A strong incentive is the fact that if an illegal alien leaves voluntarily through this program, they not only receive a one-time payment and a plane ticket, but they also have the opportunity to return legally.
The disincentive is: “If we have to deport you, you will never come back. » Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) also reports that more than 70 percent of ICE arrests involve criminals charged with or convicted of a crime in the United States.
There is no place for these people here.

Combating illegal immigration was one of Trump’s top priorities when he took office. Much remains to be done, mainly because of four years of utter failure to even pretend to enforce immigration laws or control the borders under the Biden administration. But the work continues; Border Czar Tom “The Hammer” Homan, with his Border Patrol and ICE agents, has done an excellent job.
