More than 3,000 pounds of popular seafood products drawn from listeria risk shelves

More than 3,000 pooks of POK sold in Costco stores in 33 states have been recalled, The Food and Drug Administration announced on Saturday.

The Kirkland signature brand recalled Ahi Tuna Poke can be contaminated by Listeria, bacteria that can cause serious or fatal disease.

If you bought this product, check your refrigerator and throw it immediately.

The poke recalled, produced by the Western United Fish Company DBA Annasea Foods Group, can be identified by the following information:

• Brand: Kirkland signature
• Product name: Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke
• Article number: 17193
• Date of sale: September 22, 2025
• Pack date: September 18, 2025

The recalled poke was sold on September 18 in the Costco store delicacy section in the following states:

• Alabama
• Down
• Colorado
• Connecticut
• Delaware
• Florida
• Georgia
• Idaho
• Indiana
• Louisiana
• Maine
• Maryland
• Massachusetts
• Minnesota
• Mississippi
• Missouri
• Montana
• Nebraska
• New Hampshire
• New Jersey
• New Mexico
• new York
• North Carolina
• Ohio
• Oregon
• Pennsylvania
• South Carolina
• Tennessee
• Texas
• Utah
• Virginia

Western United Fish Company launched the recall after being informed that the Green onions in the poke have been tested positive for Listeria.

In healthy adults, Listeria may cause short -term symptoms that include:

• Fever
• Severe headache
• Rigidity
• Nausea
• Abdominal pain
• Diarrhea

However, Listeria Can cause potentially fatal infections in young children, the elderly and others with weakened immune systems.

To date, no disease has been reported in relation to the recalled poke.

If you are a Costco buyer, Check your refrigerator for the AHI tuna poke recalled. If you have the product, don’t eat it. Set it immediately and visit your local costco for a full refund.
