I could not go to Singapore during the recent ICC meeting, because …: Mohsin naqvi

Recently, the International Cricket Council (ICC) organized its first annual general meeting (AGM) under the direction of the new president Jay Shah in Singapore.

Mohin Naqvi jumped the four -day meeting, and it was a major surprise for many, believing that the chief of the PCB boycotted the ICC.

Speaking after the annual general meeting (AGM) of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) in DACCA, Mohin Naqvi revealed that he was unable to attend the ICC meeting because he was stuck with a busy schedule.

“Several countries could not come to Dhaka. It happens every time. I couldn’t go to Singapore [in the recent ICC meeting]. Because I was stuck. This is a normal thing. The majority of people came. Many people cannot come because of their schedule. The point that is good for ACC and BCB is that the 25 members participated in today’s meeting.

“It’s more ACC and BCCI. I hope we resolve the problem pending and we will also have the Asian Cup,” Mohin Naqvi said in an official statement.

In particular, managers of the Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) did not go to DACCA for the ACC meeting for security reasons and attended it online.

Mohin Naqvi also revealed that all members of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) had participated in the Dhaka meeting.

The President of the ACC added that they consulted BCCI and will soon resolve the case between the two advice and will announce the details of the 2025 Asian Cup. He developed:

“First of all, the AGA meeting went very well. We have 25 members in the ACC and the 25 members participated in the meeting. The second thing is that I am grateful to all the members who came here and to all the members who attend the meeting by Zoom. Second, I really want to thank Aminul Bhai for his hospitality and for BCB hospitality.

“The way they took care of us, we had two incredible days. It was very memorable and on behalf of the ACC, I would like to thank for the way they organized everything. The last thing is that we have all decided to work for the cricket.

“It will also be announced soon [regarding Asia Cup]. We are in consultation with BCCI. We also hope to solve it very soon. We discussed it and we decided that myself and Aminul Bhai have solved certain problems and we will do it as soon as possible. “”

Asian cut to hold water

According to a Cricbuzz report, the Asian 2025 Cup is underway, but the official decision on the issue will be taken by the Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) during the next AGA.

In total, eight teams – India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong and Oman – will participate in the 19 -game continental tournament.

The competition should take place from September 10 to September 28 in the United Arab Emirates, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) being the official hosts.
