“Then kiss me…and we’ll both be damned.” Warner Bros has released the full official trailer for Wuthering Heightsthe spicy cinematic version of this timeless classic love story from beloved author Emily Brontë. This big screen version is made by the director Emerald Fennelits follow-up to Salt burnand it hits theaters on Valentine’s Day next year (starting February 13). A passionate and tumultuous love story set against the backdrop of the Yorkshire moors, exploring the intense and destructive relationship between Catherine Earnshaw and her lover Heathcliff. Fennell’s vision of this story would be hyper-sexualized and overindulgent, with lavish settings and extra intense romance galore. This is alluded to in this trailer with many exciting shots. Margot Robbie shares the spotlight with Jacob Elordand a full cast including Hong Chau, Shazad Latif, Alison Olivier, Martin ClunesAnd Ewan Mitchell. I’m not sure this serves any purpose, the indulgence seems to have gone way too far this time. Why do we even need to see this tumultuous story now? No, I’ll pass.
