The Minnesota United has the third best record in the western table while it is preparing for a Saturday evening match in St. Louis City SC.

But it is not an exaggeration to say that Minnesota could direct the conference – in fact, all ML – comfortably if he could master the art of holding an advance.

Minnesota (11-5-8, 41 points) drags the leader of the San Diego conference by two points and second place in the Whitecaps of Vancouver by one. Five of his eight games, including one on March 15 in Kansas City, where he attacked an advance of 3-0 in the second half and was satisfied with a 3-3 impasse, saw him yield a link. Four of them arrived late in the match.

This includes its last outing, 1-1 equality on July 19 in Portland which saw the timings equalize at the second minute of the second half.

“We are the team that was the least losing positions in all season,” said Minnesota coach Eric Ramsay. “I think it is a credit to the team in one direction, but in another, we must be much more clinical and ruthless to close the games.”

While Minnesota tries to refine its ability to finish the matches, St. Louis (4-13-6, 18 points) is back to the drawing board after a discouraging 3-0 defeat on July 19 in Dallas. After a rare victory on July 13 against Portland, St. Louis could not chain consecutive victories for the first time since March.

St. Louis strengthens his alignment via his opponent on Saturday evening, ironically. He acquired the Devin Padelford defender via a Minnesota loan for the rest of the year and also took the Bangbin Jeong of Loons, sending them $ 1.6 million in exchange.

Padelford started 19 games for Minnesota last year and played in 36 games in the past two more civil years.

“His ability to move forward on the left side, combined with his defensive instinct, will provide us with another option,” said St. Louis sports director, Lutz Pfannestiel.

Minnesota was laundered St. Louis 3-0 on May 17 and has a 4-1-0 lead in the series of all time.
