Tigers All-Star 2B Gleyber Torres (neck) OK after being released against the guards

Detroit Tigers All-Star’s second goal player Gleyber Torres left Saturday’s match against Cleveland Guardians’s host in the first round due to a bruise of the neck but apparently avoided a serious injury.
Tigers manager AJ Hinch described the withdrawal of precautionary torres, while Torres told journalists after the 1-0 of Strait victory that was fine.
Torres was injured in a game of force to the second goal to end the Channel of a group struck by his teammate Riley Greene. Cleveland’s stop-COURT, Brayan Rocchio, had to rush to grab a flip in the back of the second goal player Johnathan Rodriguez and the elbow of Rocchio linked to sliding torres.
Torres stopped on the ground before the bag and was followed for a few minutes before leaving the field.
“He was pouring into the neck, which in a way chased him,” said Hinch. “He needed a minute and felt a little outside. So we made an error on the side of prudence and took it out. (The trainers) came to see me in the third or fourth round and gave me the opinion that it was fine and that everything was fine. I hope it was just a fear. It obviously looked painful and was a kind of clumsy collision.”
Javier Baez went from stopping at the stop at the second base at the bottom of the first and Mark Sweeney entered to play the stop.
Torres, 28, walked during the first round to extend his basic sequence at 18 games. The starter of the stars Bat .279 with nine circuits and 44 points produced in 77 games.
