Golden Valley, Minnesota – While cleaning is underway in some parts of Minnesota after a night of strong storms, Kare 11 issues a weather impact alert on Monday while residents are preparing for another series of violent time.
Wren Clair de Kare 11 says that a band of southwest of Marshall Minnesota in Willmar is most at risk, with a certain number of communities confronted with a severe weather risk which represents 4 on a scale of 5, or moderate. Slightly is an area of Alexandria in Mankato which faces a risk of level 3 of violent time (improved), while certain parts of the metro of twin cities are also at level 3.

The storm system is expected to move to the southwest of Minnesota between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., inaugurating the potential of the damage winds (gusts up to 75 MPH) and chances for a few tornadoes. These storms will weaken when they move to the east, but could always be strong when they reach the metro of twin cities around 9 p.m. with strong winds, there is also a risk of hail with these storms.
The Kare 11 weather team claims that the models could change quickly during the day of Monday, so it is important to come back for the latest information. Currently, it seems that the alert of the weather impact expires before sunrise on Tuesday.
The time of Monday will be sunny and warm before the storms move.
