Millie Bobby Brown Paired Teeny Shorts with Crop Top and Fur Boots

The generation gap between the tastes of Gen Z and millennials is remarkably wide. They don’t seem to agree on which fashion trends are “cheugy” and which should be kept in the vaults; they take up arms for side parties versus center parties, and even their texting habits and vernacular are wildly different. But Millie Bobby Brown – who is a Gen Zer born in 2004 – is clearly pro-millennial. At least his musical tastes are.
Last week, the Stranger Things The star posted a fitness check photo, and her caption was straight from the clubs circa 2008, as she gave a nod to Flo Rida’s “Low” featuring T-Pain. And what was she referring to? Boots with fur, of course.
The number that bares Millie’s skin
The Florence by Mills founder wore nondescript black ensembles. For her top, she wore a cropped, long-sleeved knit with a fold-over shoulder detail. If the neckline looks familiar, that’s because it’s another millennial favorite that dominated fashion girls’ wardrobes in the early days, purchased from companies like Forever 21, Wet Seal, or Charlotte Russe. Even Regina George rocked one at the OG mean girls.
For a coordinated look, Brown paired the mid-rise top with matching knitted shorts so small it almost gave off a no-pants vibe. Almost.
The main attraction
The real star of her cut was the one she mentioned in her Flo Rida-inspired caption. Writing, “the whole club was looking at her rrr,” Brown was clearly referring to her “boots with fur,” the same style of shoes that “shawty” wore with the “Apple Bottom Jeans.”
Hers was a leopard-print above-the-knee iteration from Crocs, releasing on October 23. (T-Pain also teamed up with the shoe brand for this release, so the lyrics make more sense.) Called the Unforgettable Classic Leopard High Boot, it was crafted from plush vegan fur with straps accented with various Jibbitz charms, Crocs’ signature bling. Hers featured various hearts, lips, stockings and chains, among other accessories. Crocs fans know that most of the brand’s offerings can be customized, and this shoe is no different.

She wore it again
The actor wore the same statement boots with a second ensemble. Going for a cozy vibe to match her shoes, she wore a hoodie and matching sweat shorts in a bright baby blue. She also accessorized with black elements, including a bold bag and sunglasses.

Take down the boots.
