Midwest prosperous under moderate warming – Red

By Chris Talgo
As usual, climatic alarmists cite the recent heat wave that strikes important parts of the Midwest as more infallible evidence of climate change. Although these charlatans are right to say that yes, the global climate changes and has always changed, their political prescriptions for this natural phenomenon would make little difference in the large scheme while creating a much poorer and miserable world.
I use the recent heat trend in the Midwest because, as a life chicagoan, I am well aware that the extremely hot days are not abnormal in the winding city during the summer.
Three decades ago, when I was a child at the summer camp, a heat wave seized the Midwest which “made more than 500 lives in Chicago and hundreds of others in the Midwest”.
According to the National Weather Service, “Chicago has experienced a certain number of significant heat of heat and hot summer over the years”, in particular in 1911, 1916, the 1930s, 1947 and the 1950s. It should also be noted that temperature recordings for this region were only chronic in the last centuries, which means that we have an incomplete long -term temperature fluctuations image.
In other words, the episodes of hot weather in the Midwest are nothing new and they occurred before the mass adoption of cars.
In relation: Remember the polar vortex? It is still not climate change.
Climate Science, The Scam, The Misinformation – An Expert speaks
Activists using the recent heat wave to push their left program often claim that their definition of the term climate change includes the inevitable devastation of agriculture through the Midwest.
However, they are completely wrong on this because a slightly warmer planet, than we live, is generally better for crop yields.
Like my colleague, Linnea Lueken, notes in a new climate profile of Wisconsin, my neighbor of the North, “according to USDA data, the production of Gisconsin corn grains, which includes corn for human and animal consumption, as well as ethanol production, increased by 45% since 1990 and the production of soybeans increased by 477% in the same period.
“Nocif climate change is not easy in the weather, climatic or agricultural data of Wisconsin.
Despite these easily confirmed facts, the climate alarmists are hell on all kinds of meteorological event to promote the need for their green energy snake oil.
Like the Illinois, Wisconsin is Gung-Ho for the green transition.
Without any evidence, Governor Tony Evers says: “The climate crisis has an undeniable impact on the health, security and economic well-being of our state. The livelihoods of Wisconsin farmers are in danger with extreme and unpredictable weather conditions that weigh on cultures and production. ”
To fight against this nonexistent crisis, Evers followed the example of governors like the Gavin Newsom of California and JB Pritzker of Illinois to move “towards a clean energy saving”.
Under Evers, Wisconsin launched a “clean energy plan”, “prioritize the fundamental values of justice, equity and collective action”.
Among its high objectives, the CEP aims to make the badger state “100% carbon -free by 2050”, ensure that the Wisconsin “achieved the carbon reduction objectives of the 2015 Paris Agreement”, reduces “the disproportionate impacts of the generation of energy and use on communities and communities of colored in low income”, the maximization of ” The equivalent for, jobs of clean energy “, jobs, and actions on the environment and equitable actions”, and a priority, and a priority of health, clean energy jobs, “, and a privileged priority”, and jobs of clean energy, “, and a previous priority”, clean energy jobs, “and jobs of clean energy,” and a privileged priority. “
The most ridiculy, Evers says that CEP “will improve the reliability and affordability of the energy system”. In fact, it will do the opposite.
In “Affordable, reliable and clean: an objective dashboard to assess competing energy sources”, notes the president of the Heartland Institute, James Taylor, “affordable, reliable and clean are the fundamental elements of solid energy policy. An in -depth analysis of seven sources of common electrical energy reveals that natural gas does not make the most meaning depending on the trace of the modage and the clean model, with a nuclear, hydro and and coal moding. Wind and solar separate as the least desirable sources of energy. »»
Essentially, climatic alarmists are on the heels. Their apocalyptic predictions did not take place, not even close. In addition, their green energy transition wading.
In November 2024, the American people voted massively in favor of President Trump’s energy domination plan. Instead of challenging the administration’s attempts to impose an energy policy of common sense, it would be much better if governors like Pritzker and Evers set aside the rhetoric of climate change and adopt real, affordable and reliable energy.
