Sources – John Jazz Collins picks up the $ 26.5 million option

Utah’s great jazz man John Collins has exercised his $ 26.5 million player option for the 2025-26 season, sources said in ESPN on Wednesday.

Collins, 27, saw a return in shape last season, with an average of 19.0 points by a great career per match, 8.2 rebounds, 1.0 flights and 1.0 blocks for jazz.

An ankle injury prevented Collins for the last two months of the season, and has been limited to only 40 games for a UTAH team favoring their young players. Jazz was nearly 13 points for 100 possessions better with Collins on the field rather than Off, according to the basketball reference.

Collins landed in UTAH via an off -season business in 2023 after spending its first six seasons in Atlanta. The power striker had difficulties with his stroke since his finger injury with the Hawks, but found him in Utah, finishing last season 39.9% out of 3.7 attempts per game.

Collins was the only player in the league last season to draw more than 50% of the field and 39% out of 3 while making an average of at least one flight and a block per game.
