Metallica has just unveiled a list of tour dates in 2026 which took place in the United Kingdom and Europe. The support will vary with Gojira and has made a loose opening to selected dates as well as Pantera and Avatar together at other stops.
The race, which starts a little less than a year from now on May 6, 2026, is divided between one night performances in certain cities and the double dates of the weekend without rehearsal in other places.
Gojira and overthrow will open all the stops of only one night as well as one of the two weekend dates without rehearsal, with Pantera and Avatar alternating on weekend stops without rehearsal.

Commenting on honor, Avatar wrote on social networks,
Who knows where we would be if it was not for certain groups of our lives? We can say with a 100 percent certainty than without metallica, there would be no avatar (hey, look at these two names in the same sentence!). If John had not broken his leg, he was given a few CDs to pass the time, has become obsessed [sic]Research Lars Ulrich’s battery, bought a @officialtamadrums kit and convinced Jonas to start a group, Johannes would not have seen the note in search of a singer and so on, etc.
How even to explain this? No word will do him justice. We have no choice but to show you through our actions. We will seize this opportunity and make you feel the same thing that we felt. It’s like a circle of violence that you don’t want to break.

And in a recent conversation with the Radio host of the Night of Loudwire, Chuck Armstrong, the leader Johannes Eckerstrom confirmed that the new album of Avatar – the successor of the 2023 Dance Devil Dance – will be released later this year.
“I have the impression that we did something that kills Dance Devil Dance because we found a new angle for ourselves … I can’t wait to show you,” he said.
