Messi Visit Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata in December

The legendary footballer Lionel Messi is ready to visit India later this year for events that celebrate his illustrious career, according to reports. Earlier, reports had quoted the Kerala Minister of Sports saying that the Argentine icon was to arrive in the state for a friendly match in October. However, although this does not remain confirmed, Messi should now visit three cities across India – Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi.

According to Times of India, a source from the Mumbai Cricket Association confirmed that Messi should visit the emblematic Wankhede stadium on December 14 for an event. We expect some superstar cricket players should attend the event. The source added that Messi’s visit to Mumbai will be an event in ticket and that the authorization was granted after being discussed at the meeting of MCA Apex Council.

In addition, the report indicates that Messi should visit the three Indian cities between December 13 and 15. The legend would be congratulated by Western Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee during an event at the Eden gardens in Kolkata.
