Meryl Streep & Stanley Tucci Channel “ Devil Wears Prada ” at MFW

Either David Frankel has Taken A Cinema Truth Approach to Directing The Devil Porte Prada 2or Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci took the complete method.
On Saturday, the actors cosplayed as Miranda Priestly and Nigel Kipling characters when they were seated in the front row at the Milan Fashion Week show in Dolce & Gabbana for their spring / summer 2026 collection.
In a video shared by VogueTiktok, the pair can be seen by taking place in the front row, next to Naomi Campbell. Streep also praised the apparent inspiration of his character in another clip, mixing behind the scenes with the world editorial director Anna Wintour.
The surprise outing could be for a very awaited scene of the long -awaited suite – or just a well -timed advertising stroke – because they were joined by Simone Ashley, who announced exclusively the casting in July. Vogue Note that Ashley plays Miranda’s new assistant.
Based on the book of the former assistant of Wintour Lauren Weisberger, The Devil Porte Prada (2006) features Anne Hathaway as Andy, a recent university graduate desperate for journalism employment when she is hired as assistant from Diabolical Miranda of Streep, a position that turns out to be detrimental to her personal life and her mental health.
Last year, Disney hit the scriptwriter of the original film Aline Brosh McKenna to write a sequel, which was in production this summer in New York. The original producer Wendy Finerman is back with Frankel returning to the director’s president.
Meanwhile, Wintour announced in June that she was deviating as Vogueeditor -in -chief after almost 40 years, but she will remain as content director for Conde Nast, as well as the world editorial director at Vogue.
