Bronco Test came just for Rohit Sharma?

Former India batter Manoj Tiwary has claimed that the BCCI has introduced the Bronco Test to ensure that Rohit Sharma retires before the ODI World Cup 2027. He cited how, in the past several ageing cricketers were forced out by the introduction of new fitness tests like the Yo-Yo test, and now the same is happening to Rohit.

BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia has confirmed that the board and Dream11’s partnership as Team India’s title sponsor has ended. The deal was supposed to run until March 2026, but after the Online Gaming Bill 2025 was passed, the partnership ended prematurely. This means Team India might not have a sponsor for the Asia Cup.
