“I thought we were competitive in the first half, and I would say quarters a little bit in the second half,” Oshoniyi said. “We talk about what we call competitive endurance. And I think Penn had that for 90 minutes. For you to be a tournament team, for you to be top four in the Ivies, you have to have it for longer stretches. In the first half, we had a few chances, we didn’t score those goals and left them in the game, and then they were able to capitalize.”

With Oshoniyi talking about being a top four team in the Ivy League, the Big Green will shift focus and begin preparing to face Princeton in its final road game of the regular season next weekend. Princeton currently sits atop the conference standings with a 5-0 record.
Oshoniyi’s accent for the Big Green; “Be competitive for 90 minutes. We’re going to play a really good Princeton team in Princeton. We just have to make sure we’re competitive, we’re all on the same page for 90 minutes. And I think if we do that, we give ourselves a great chance to get a win.”
Kickoff next Saturday, November 1, is set for 4 p.m. You can watch the game on ESPN+ or follow live stats on DartmouthSports.com.
