Mel Robbins: How she gets out of bed when her 5 -second rule does not work

But even she has the days when she just can’t resolve herself to get up and this method will not work. So she shared what she is doing instead.

“It is a really cool somatic method that my therapist @Nanedavinphd made me … And this morning I needed it,” she continued.
In the video, she shows how she does it and it’s really simple.
“Literally, just ride a bed on the floor, ride and scratch by simply embodying this resistance which is inside you and when you feel ready to roll on your hands and knees and start crawling towards the bathroom and at one point, you will feel ready to get up and the resistance will disappear,” she explained.
“I know I know … It’s super weird but the boy works! Let me know if you tried it.”
Now, of course, it’s unconventional, but hey, it will definitely get you out of bed.
