Megyn Kelly rips Republicans after Election Day defeats

Megyn Kelly delivered a scathing message to Republicans after the party lost big on Election Day, accusing her fellow conservatives of not knowing how to win without guidance from Donald Trump.
The political commentator weighed in on the election results — which saw major victories for Democrats in California, New Jersey, Virginia and New York — on “The Megyn Kelly Show” Wednesday afternoon.
“The Republican Party needs to get its act together ASAP,” Kelly lamented in his new episode. “I’m really happy that we spent the last two weeks, as Sean Davis of the Federalist said, monitoring youth group discussions. What a podcast host said and what the head of a Heritage think tank had to say. I’m really happy that the Republicans spent so much time on this. It was a great decision.”
She continued: “Republicans love to lose. They love to lose. They love to be in trouble, in a losing position and to complain. They love it. They do it really well.”
Kelly went on to accuse the Republican Party of not being strong, noting that it’s just Trump who “is strong.”
“Republicans don’t know how to win. They don’t know who to lead,” she added. “They don’t know what to do when Dad isn’t there to get them across the finish line. And it’s so obvious.”
Trump expressed similar sentiments on election night, when he wrote on Truth Social: “‘TRUMP WASN’T ON THE BALLOT, AND THE SHUTDOWN, WERE TWO REASONS FOR REPUBLICANS LOST THE ELECTION TONIGHT,’ according to pollsters. »
He addressed the election results again Wednesday during a breakfast with Republican senators. “Last night, we didn’t expect a victory. They were very Democratic areas,” he said. “But I don’t think it’s good for the Republicans…I’m not sure it’s good for anyone. But we had an interesting evening and we learned a lot.”
