Max Verstappen aims at the fifth F1 championship against Fernando Alonso

Max Verstappen said he hoped for a championship fight against Fernando Alonso in 2026. Speaking, he also expressed his admiration for the double world champion.
During the F1 2025 season, Verstappen does not have the machine that can always help him fight for the victories and finally the title of the driver. McLaren Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri pilots are the favorites despite the fact that Verstappen is third in the ranking.

Max Verstappen has competed in F1 since 2015, and so far he has successfully completed 220 race departures. In addition, his statistics are 66 victories, 119 podiums and 45 poles, alongside his four pilot titles.
During the F1 season in progress 2025, Verstappen won three victories in the first 16 races.
