Matthew Perry’s doctor pleads guilty to the distribution of ketamine

Matthew Perry’s doctor Salvador Plasencia argued on Wednesday a guilty plea with four chiefs of distribution of ketamine, and will be confronted with conviction on December 3.
As part of the agreement, Plasencia, 43, will give up her medical license in the next 30 to 45 days, said the American lawyer’s office. He will remain free on Bond while waiting for his conviction.
Plasencia concluded a advocacy agreement in June in which he admitted to having distributed Ketamine without a legitimate medical objective to the star of “friends”, who died of a overdose in October 2023. In exchange, the prosecutors abandoned the accusations of falsification of medical files and additional distribution leaders.
The only accused remaining in the case, Jasveen Sangha, nicknamed the “queen of ketamine”, is expected to face a trial next month. She would have maintained a reserve in North Hollywood for the illicit drug distribution.
Plasencia was also to be tried at the same time, before her lawyers concluded the advocacy agreement.
Plasencia is faced with a theoretical 40 -year -old maximum behind bars, but it is likely to receive much less than that according to the federal directives of determination of the sentence.
According to the Associated Press, the prosecutors detailed the underlying circumstances of the accusations before the plea and recognized that Plasencia had not sold perry the deadly dose.
Plasencia only maintained itself in answers to questions from judge Sherilyn Peace Garnett.
Three other accused – Erik Fleming, Kenneth Iwamasa and Mark Chavez – previously agreed to plead guilty to a single conspiracy leader to distribute ketamine.
The authorities previously alleged that Plasencia had concocted a false “treatment plan” for Perry after his death, in a vain attempt to cover his traces. Plasencia was also cited in an SMS to another doctor who delights her arrangement with Perry, saying: “I wonder how much this moron will pay … Lit ourselves.”
