Matt Hardy Teases ‘Huge’ Announcement About Future of TNA

Matt Hardy shared immense pride in the recent resurgence and growth of TNA Wrestling under the ownership of Anthem Sports & Entertainment on the latest Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast.
“Yes, one thing I would like to say is that I am very proud of the growth of the Anthems,” Matt said. He acknowledged early struggles and disagreements, but praised Anthem’s evolution and understanding of the wrestling business over time. “It’s cool how Anthem started out as a place that didn’t really have a wrestling background…And then over time, they grew.”
Hardy praised the current TNA management and creative team. “Now we’re in this position where Carlos and Tommy Dreamer are booking, and I think Hunter Delirious is doing a great job as well…It’s just a great team. It’s such a team working for the common good now,” he said. “And I couldn’t be more proud of the growth of TNA and what Anthem has allowed TNA to do.”
He shared his optimism about the company’s future, teasing an upcoming announcement. “And I think there are some very exciting things on the horizon. I think from what I’m hearing, by the end of this year, the first of next year, a new media rights deal will be announced, which will be huge,” Matt revealed. “It’s going to be huge for TNA, just to be somewhere where we can get more attention to the product. Because I think we have a very, very strong product now.”
Hardy also praised the partnership between TNA and WWE, which has led to crossover appearances including the Hardy Boyz’s upcoming match at NXT Halloween Havoc. “Proud of WWE for allowing TNA to work with them and have this partnership. It’s opened so many interesting doors…And I think this partnership and the United States coming back to WWE, I think what we’re doing in NXT is just the beginning of a lot of really, really cool things,” he concluded.
