Massive update on the plans for 2025 WWE draft

There has been a major update concerning the company’s plans for this year’s WWE draft. The promotion is currently being built towards Night of Champions on June 28 in Saudi Arabia.
According to a new Corte Hays report BodyslamThe WWE 2025 draft will occur later this year rather than during its usual time slot after Wrestlemania. The report noted that the promotion is planning to have the project after Summerslam this year.
This year’s Summerslam will take place two nights and will take place on August 2 to 3 at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey. The speculated date of the draft would be first in the season of Raw and Smackdown in September 2025.

King and Queen of the Ring tournaments are underway on Raw and Smackdown. The tournament winners will be challenged for a title at the Summerslam this year in August.
Wrestling Insider suggests that Cody Rhodes could change brands during WWE Draft
Wrestlevotes recently suggested that Cody Rhodes could change the brands during the WWE project this year.
The American nightmare won the undisputed WWE championship of Roman Reigns in Wrestlemania XL. Rhodes had an impressive title title but lost it against John Cena in the main event of Wrestlemania 41 in April. Rhodes teamed up with Jey USO to defeat John Cena and Logan Paul in the main money event at the bank earlier this month.
Speaking on Lighting questions and answers On Sportskeeda Wrestlebingge, the initiate said that Rhodes was currently on Smackdown, but that could change during the draft. Wrestlevotes added that he hoped to see the company hold a rivalry between Rhodes and Randy Orton until the former AEW star is again champion.
“As far as I know, it is on Smackdown for the moment. Once the project occurs, they can shake it. As far as the Randy and Cody program, I hope they are waiting for Cody again, I think that deserves the title, there is more history to tell like that, so could be a while,” he said.
