All eyes will be on the sky this evening while the county of Nassau celebrates the day of independence with one of the greatest fireworks and drone shows in Long Island. The event, held at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, attracts massive crowds and promises an unforgettable evening of patriotic celebration.
Tens of thousands of people should pack the area around the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theater for the Celearm Fireworks & Drone Show of TD Bank.
In addition to traditional fireworks, the show will present a display of high -tech drones – a new addition to the festivities of the county independence which quickly becomes a favorite.
“It’s a family tradition,” said Yesenia Campos, by Uniondale. “My children expect to be here, to look at fireworks and to celebrate. It’s something for the family. “
Kristine Hansen, of Wantagh, echoes this feeling.
“We go out early every year to beat the crowd, claim our place. It’s a great day and night in the park with friends and family, ”she says.
