Marvel Skips Comic Con 2025 Hall H Panel

The Avengers will have to wait to meet in San Diego for another year.
Marvel Studios will have a smaller presence at Comic-Con this year, jumping its annual successful presentation at Hall H Saturday, Variety confirmed. With “Avengers: Doomsday”, shifting its release date from May 2026 to December 2026, the studio holds its powder for Comic-Con 2026, rather than suspending production in London to pilot its distribution of more than two dozen stars to appear on stage in San Diego this year.
The company always prevents panels and events focused on its comics and games, as well as on a stand that will take place on the release of “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”, which opens in Friday the annual fans convention. (The stars of the film will appear at the CCXP Mexico Fans Convention this weekend.)
Since the overview of “Iron Man” Electrified Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con 2007, Marvel Studios has used the scene to present its upcoming features and do news with surprise appearances and the announcement of new titles. In 2024, the studio even nailed on a special Thursday h Hall panel for “Deadpool & Wolverine” which became a first surprise projection, crowned with a drone and 10 -minute fireworks on Petco Park.
The studio has already led to the agreement previously, more recently in 2023 (due to the guild strikes) and 2021 and 2020 (due to the pandemic), as well as in 2018, 2015 and 2011, largely due to a lack of sequences and / or news to share due to production calendars. The event can also be a kind of double -edged sword: Marvel has not yet kept the promise of Mahershala Ali’s surprise appearance at the end of the Panel Hall H 2019 announcing a new film “Blade”.
The Heat Vision vision of the Hollywood Reporter first announced the news.
