Marvel Might Have “Several” Different AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Trailers Ready; New details revealed

Although it is not confirmed, we have heard from several reliable sources that the first trailer for Avengers: Apocalypse will make its theatrical debut with Avatar: Fire and Ash this December. A vague description with some intriguing Doctor Doom tidbits recently made the rounds online, but it appears those details may only come from one version of the teaser.

According to Kristian Harloff in the latest episode of his YouTube show, Marvel Studios has “several different versions” of the trailer ready to go, and still hasn’t decided which one to release later this year.

Apparently, one version of the trailer features Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) – although they aren’t wearing any superhero costumes.

Evans and Atwell’s returns haven’t been made official yet, but we don’t see many people shocked by their involvement. It would still be a little surprising if the studio chose to include them in the first teaser

Harloff also mentions that Sir Patrick Stewart’s return as Professor Xavier is expected to mark the legendary actor’s final role before his retirement, and that the collision of three planets – the final multiversal foray, presumably – will result in the creation of Battleworld in the film.

Avengers: Apocalypse And Avengers: Secret Wars have recently experienced significant delays, with doomsday is now scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2026, and Secret Wars positioned for December 17, 2027.

Both films will be directed by the Russo brothers, who are also returning to the MCU after directing Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War And Avengers: Endgame.
