Kieran Tierney ends the return to Celtic after an injury fate in Arsenal

The left back Kieran Tierney finished his return to Celtic.
The Scottish international signed an agreement until 2030 in Celtic Park, six years after leaving Glasgow for Arsenal.
The 28 -year -old won 10 major trophies during his first visit with Celtic and, after a career in injuries in northern London, during which he only made 104 league appearances, Tierney was delighted to return to his childhood club.

Tierney, who also had a loan with Real Sociedad during the 2023-24 season, said on Celtic website: “Everyone has been known for a few months and just to be here with the Celtic band that feels incredible again.
“I spoke with the manager, and obviously I had worked with him before and I have always been in contact with him. He is one of the best, so I am so lucky and grateful that he gave me the chance to come back.
“When you get away from your home, you grow, you learn different things. I was in Spain for a year, learning a different language and playing in a different league, so I am definitely a different person.
“On the player side, it’s the same thing I always say – I’m going to try to work on my hardest, I will do my best for the club and that’s all I can do.”
“My ambition is just for Celtic to succeed in success, keep our place at the top and continue to win trophies and do well for Celtic.”
Rodgers delighted to secure Tierney’s signature
This decision allows Tierney to be brought together with Brendan Rodgers, whose team is now strengthened while they are looking to keep the Scottish crown of Première that they won last season.
Rodgers said: “We are delighted to welcome Kieran to the Celtic. He is such a talented and high quality player and he will be a massive addition to our team.
“Kieran has always had Celtic in his blood and he is delighted to come back to the place he loves.
“He is someone who has already given Celtic so many things so much and I know that he is so motivated and hungry to help the club bring more and more success to our fans.
“We are very happy to bring such an elite player to the club and I can’t wait to work with him again and the rest of the team, while we are faced with the many challenges to come to the house and in Europe.”
