In honor of Father’s Day in the United States on Sunday, June 15, Mariska went to Instagram and shared a tribute to Mickey, who died in 2006, almost 20 years after Mariska learned that he was not his father.

She shared three photos of return with Mickey, one of her when she was a child, another at her marriage in 2004 with her husband Peter Hermann, and a third of the two during the Glacie Allen prices the same year.

“Happy Father’s Day to my first hero, my cheerleader and the man who taught me love, strength, sweetness, commitment and devotion,” wrote Mariska in his legend.
