And, Mariah added, if she had known as a little girl that one day people would call her the “Christmas Queen,” it would have been “pretty amazing.”
“But I think it’s disrespectful to say, ‘That’s what I amthis is who I am,‘” she noted. “I love the holidays more than any other time. Even though, as is often the case, we dress up the place to play music and do this and that, it’s not the same as the actual vacation. Even when I spend Christmas in a place where there is no snow, I am a lover of traditional holidays.”
