Maple Leafs completes the trade with Vancouver

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the hockey club had acquired the Dakota Joshua striker of the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for a selection of fourth round in the NHL 2028 draft.
Joshua, 29, recorded 14 points (seven goals, seven assists) in 57 games with the Vancouver Canucks during the 2024-25 season. The native of Dearborn, Mi, posted 78 points (40 goals, 38 assists) in 241 games of the regular career in the NHL between Vancouver and Saint-Louis while collecting eight points (four goals, four assists) in 14 career playoffs.
The 6’3 striker, 206 pounds was initially selected by Toronto in the fifth round (128th in total) of the NHL 2014 draft.
