Manhunt in progress for suspect who would have shot a police officer

The network, see. – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation issued a blue alert after a McCaysville police officer was injured.

What we know:
The GBI said that the agents were looking for Timothy Craig Ramsey, who said they have shot Captain Brantley Worley in the face around 11:10 p.m. Friday.
The shooting occurred on First Street in McCaysville.
Ramsey was seen for the last time wearing a green shirt with green pants or shorts. He also wore a motorcycle helmet.
Police said they’ve excavated Ramsey’s house on Saturday but didn’t find it.
McCaysville police chief Michael Otis said that the officer remained in critical condition and had asked the public of prayers.
“I ask you to keep my department, the officer, his family and his children in your thoughts and your prayers during this extremely difficult period,” said Otis on Facebook.
