Manchester United announces a record turnover of 666.5 million pounds

Manchester United’s continuous difficulties on the ground had no impact on their financial fortune, the club announcing record income of 666.5 million pounds Sterling on Wednesday.

United endured a nightmare season 2024-25 as they recorded their worst Premier League stop, ending the countryside in 15th place. They reached the final of the Europa League, but a 1-0 defeat against Tottenham made sure to miss European football for 2025-26.

The Ruben Amorim team endured a difficult start to the new campaign, taking four points from as many Premier League matches and suffering from a humiliating exit from the EFL Cup in the hands of the fourth level city of Grimsby. United was fully beaten 3-0 by Manchester City during the last Sunday derby.

However, during the year on June 30, 2025, United recorded commercial income of 333.3 million pounds Sterling and match income of 160.3 million pounds Sterling.

Their overall loss of 33 million pounds sterling was down more than 70% compared to the previous year (113.2 million pounds sterling).

“Having generated record income in such a difficult year for the club demonstrates resilience which is a characteristic of Manchester United,” said Managing Director Omar Berrad.

“While we settle in the 2025-26 season, we work hard to improve the club in all areas.”
