Man UTD takes secret discussions to exchange Sancho for a “generational” advantage £ 75 m
Manchester United has had interviews on an exchange agreement to sign a “generational” premier league attacker, Jadon Sancho potentially sent in the opposite direction, according to a report.
Sancho’s future remains in the air
Last week, it was revealed that Sancho was in discussion on a permanent move to Chelsea, having achieved improved performance towards the back of the campaign, in particular by marking the final of the League of the UEFA Conference.
Fabrizio Romano has since revealed that the winger will not move in western London, which means that the blues had to pay Man United a penalty clause of 5 million pounds sterling. However, this does not mean that it will remain in Old Trafford beyond summer.
With the future of Sancho in the air, the Red Devils now explore different ways to bring it out of the books, and secret talks have even been held on an exchange for West Ham United Winger Mohammed Kudus.
It is according to a report by United in Focus, which reveals that Kudus was ready to move to Old Trafford, with his career as West Ham ending, but the agreement is currently pending.
This is because the Ghanaian is not the number one priority of Ruben Amorim, having decided to sign the Brentford star, Bryan Mbeumo, who recently showed that he wanted to join United this summer, despite the interest of Arsenal.
As such, while the West Ham star should evolve this summer, he cannot join the Red Devils, the move still complicated by the fact that the side of Graham Potter is reluctant to sign Sancho.
Deal for “generational” kudus could break the bank
Mbeumo seems to be the priority objective of United, but if they focus on the 24 -year -old, an agreement could be on the expensive side, because the attacker has a 75 million pound sterling clause in his contract with the irons.
As such, it does not seem likely that the Amorim team will sign the international of Ghana this summer, with West Ham without interest in Sancho, but it could be a fantastic signature if it manages to facilitate an agreement.

The striker born in Accra was described as a “generational talent” by journalist Gary Al-Smith, and he impressed in the Premier League in the past, collecting eight goals and nine assists during the 2023-24 campaign.
That said, Mbeumo has been much more prolific than Kudus lately, reaching the mark of 20 goals this season, so it is clear to see why Cameroonian is the favorite option for Man United.
