At the dawn of their Premier League meeting to open their respective seasons, Manchester United and Arsenal would have set the same target.
Amorim: “Smart” Sesko “Ready” for the beginnings of Man Utd
It’s a big weekend for the Manchester United team at Ruben Amorim. They have had investments this summer and the apologies are exhausted for any potential disastrous form.
Although there is still work to be done on the transfer market, the arrivals of Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko should put the Red Devils more than in fire to make their way in the first six of this season. And it could start in fashion against Arsenal.
If Amorim wants to see exactly where his team is in the first days of the season, Arsenal’s visit will certainly be welcome. The Portuguese manager cannot waste time before turning to his fresh attackers, after telling journalists that Sesko was “ready”, despite his arrival a week ago.
“He didn’t have much time [but] Physically, he is ready. He’s really intelligent, a guy who always thinks. He is ready to play but we will see if he will start.
“He [Sesko] has great potential. He has great potential in everything he does. He can play a different type of football. He will feel that the Premier League is aggressive. He will learn.
“But well may be an attacker for United for many years, which is why we have paid so much money to have an attacker who will have his story in our club.”
On the transfer front, however, Manchester United seems far from over. After failing to negotiate a means of spending the price of 100 million pounds sterling by Brighton & Hove Albion for Carlos Baleba, those of Old Trafford could still turn to Angelo Stiller or others, while a winner of the Champions League is now also on their radar.
Utd man looking at lee kang-in move
According to the offside, Manchester United is now planning a move to sign Lee Kang-in from Paris Saint-Germain this summer. The winger is free to go in the middle of the competition for places in France and would have already had direct contact with Arsenal.
In a new transfer battle before their equality of Premier League, United can already be behind but, on the basis of this summer, it may not be a problem.
Although it has little to offer in terms of European football or a flourishing project this summer, the Red Devils still managed to attract SESKO far from its rivals such as Arsenal and Newcastle United. Now they could do the same with Lee.
Described as “Brilliant” by Scout Jacek Kulig during the 2022/23 campaign, and a “joy to watch”, Lee sent a right recall of his quality for the PSG during his recent Super Cup victory over Tottenham Hotspur – marking an excellent goal to recover the holders of the Champions League in the competition.
Now, it seems that the South Korean could well leave with Gianluigi Donnarumma, because he considers “seriously” an exit before the deadline.
