Producers `Love is blind” accused of “inhuman working conditions”, unpaid wages in combination of recourse to the old competitor
A former competitor of “Love is Blind” accused producers of his Netflix meeting program “Love is blind” of submitting candidates for unpaid wages and to create “inhuman working conditions” in a trial filed Tuesday before the Los Angeles Superior Court.
Netflix representatives did not immediately respond to a request for Thewrap comments.
Stephen Richardson says in his trial that he and other distribution members were “voluntarily classified employees as independent entrepreneurs despite the defendants who have shown substantial and excessive control over the way, the means and the calendar of labor”. This included, therefore the costume said: “Getting complete domination during their time, your schedule and their ability to eat, drink and sleep, and communicate with the outside world during the employment period.”
This supports the trial, qualifies them for the protections under Californian labor law, which would give them the right to the minimum wage and the remuneration of overtime.
The trial also accuses the demonstration of deliberately intoxicate them. The actors regularly had “alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, energy drinks and mixers”, and water and other “moisturizing drinks” were only available during the day. The costume indicates that they were also encouraged to drink throughout the day without having received food or water to alleviate the effects.

The costume appoints the production company Kinetic Content, Netflix, the production company Delirium TV and 1-50 without name as defendants.
The pursuit seeks the recognition of this proposed class, that all potential members of the class are informed, that the court affirms the theft of salary and that the practices of supply of food and alcohol are violations of the laws of labor.
