The former Manchester United star, Teddy Sheringham, criticized the club for signing players who are not used to English football.
He thinks they should have invest in players who are artists proven in the Premier League. He added that Manchester United should have moved to Alexander Isak instead of sign Benjamin Sesko.
The former Newcastle United striker is undoubtedly one of the best players in the Premier League, and Isak joined Liverpool for a British transfer record earlier this summer. There is no doubt that it would have been an exceptional acquisition for Manchester United.

He said (H / T Teamtalk): “They could have obtained Alexander Isak this summer for 120 million pounds sterling, and they rather obtained Benjamin Sesko.
“Sir Alex Ferguson would have always been released and broke the bank to get this leader, to get this best player, so everyone looks at him as soon as he pulls this shirt and goes, Wow, which player. I want to play like him. I want to be like him.
“When you get players who are not quite sure of their own capacities or who enter the Premier League for the first time, they are looking for a little help, but that doesn’t work like that. When you are a player of 70 million pounds sterling, you should show us the way.
“So, it is not the science of rockets for me. The reason for which Manchester United is where they are now is because of the stature of the players they bought are not good enough.”
Can Benjamin Sesko make his mark?
It will be interesting to see how Sesko performs in the Premier League. He has not yet found the bottom of the net for his new club. There is no doubt that he is a great talent, but he might need time to adapt to English football.
Manchester United took a bad start to the season, and they have to bounce strongly. They have not been able to fight for major trophies in recent seasons, and they need established players who can have an instant impact. Someone like Isak would have been a much better signature compared to Sesko.
