Man United dealt a blow to Endrick’s transfer

Manchester United are interested in signing Real Madrid striker Endrick on loan in January, but another club currently looks more likely.
As reported here for the Daily Briefing in an exclusive update today, Real Sociedad have a strong relationship with Real Madrid and are considered the most likely option.
There is also a “clear preference” within the Bernabeu to loan Endrick to a La Liga club rather than abroad, although there are many suitors across Europe.
Man United have been among those to ask questions, while Bayer Leverkusen, Lille, Monaco and Porto are also interested.
Latest news on Endrick transfer situation as Real Madrid prefer La Liga loan move
Sociedad aren’t the only Spanish club interested in Endrick, as Valencia are also in the mix, but it’s the Basque side that has the best relationship with Los Blancos.
Real have loaned Martin Odegaard to Sociedad in the past, while they also completed a favorable deal for Takefusa Kubo a few years ago.
This looks like a big blow for Man Utd, who are also keen on Endrick and also due to make a re-signing in the near future.
Yet, as mentioned in another report earlier today, Jean-Philippe Mateta at United is another story to watch.
Will Man United sign Endrick or Mateta?
It’s too early to know for sure where Endrick will end up, but it appears his future lies away from the Bernabeu come January.
The young Brazilian will only leave on loan, and this could have been an interesting option for United.
Mateta, however, is more proven and could be a more realistic option for a permanent move, which could make more sense for MUFC anyway.
